About Our Chapter
Founded in 1982, AMA is a non-profit and student-run organization that is financially independent from the Marketing Department at James Madison University.
We strive to provide our members with the opportunity to further their business professional education and connections through guest speakers, workshops, and open forums with JMU faculty, alumni, and experts.
The American Marketing Association the largest professional marketing organization in the world. While it helps established marketers network and grow their career, the student membership offers a multitude of benefits as well. By joining an affiliated college chapter, students have the opportunity to access resources, develop professional skills, compete in various AMA competitions, and attend its annual InterCollegiate Conference in New Orleans.
